2023 was a challenging vintage and one in which we harvested our Pinot Gris at slightly lower sugar level than we would normally want to, however the result is a bright vibrant wine which lacks none of the powerful fruitiness of our previous wines, but is a little lower in alcohol.
Fruit was handpicked from our Lower Barrington vineyard, the bunches were gently destemmed without crushing and soaked on skins for 4 hours prior to air bag pressing. Fermentation temperature was held between 15 and 20˚C to retain natural fruit aromatics.
