A classic combination of, Pinot Noir (48%), Chardonnay (43%) and Pinot Meunier (9%) grapes were whole bunch-pressed, blended and under went full malolactic fermentation and batonnage in tank. Barringwood Classic Cuvee was then crafted using the Méthode Traditionelle process, including 36 months on yeast lees.
Recently awarded the highest rating (97 points) given to any sparkling wine in James Halliday's Australian Wine Companion this exceptional sparkling wine was crafted from 100% pristine Chardonnay grapes using Methode Traditionelle, including 5 years lees age. It retains incredible freshness along with the understated complexity and finese of the world's finest Blanc de Blancs.
