Barringwood Estate Pinot Noir 2020

Wine Making
Crafted from select parcels across our Lower Barrington and Orielton vineyards, the 2020 Estate Pinot Noir was handpicked, cold soaked for five days, and wild fermented with a small portion of whole bunch (approx. 10%) to enhance perfume and complexity. The wine was matured for 10 months in French oak (20% new) before bottling.

Appearance: Medium ruby with garnet huesAroma: Red cherry, raspberry and subtle hints of earth, spice and dried herbs
 Palate: Supple and refined with layers of bright red fruits, soft tannins and savoury undertones that linger elegantly
 Food Match: Roast duck, wild mushroom risotto, or Tasmanian salmon
Cellaring: 5–7 years
